Even lettuce can go to fat

Many people get way too hung up on how much fat is in food, or how healthy a choice it is.

Calories are calories and it doesn't matter where they come from. Even lettuce can be stored as fat.

The simple fact about weight gain is, if there are extra calories being consumed over and above what you need for the next couple of hours, guess where they're going.

Yep, you guessed it... body fat!

This isn't to say that the quality of what you eat isn't important because it is. It just doesn't have that much of an affect when it comes to fat loss. By all means make healthy choices whenever possible, but don't think that if you eat some chips they're guaranteed to be stored as fat. It depends on the quantity eaten and your activity level.
